Implementation of all key original project activities has been timely completed, except the sub-component on the establishment of the Traffic and Road Safety Coordination Center (TRSCC). As of mid-December 2020, the disbursements under the project stand at about US$229 million (92% of loan funds). Overall, efficient implementation of the project has so far resulted in reconstruction of significantly larger sections of M6 highway than it was originally envisioned (154km vs 86km) and substantial financial savings.
