PHOTO: Liberia Land Ad . tland nights Background Successes PROJECT NAME: The project supported, inter alia, the new Liberia Land Authority to pilot Liberia Land key provisions of the Liberia Land Rights Act of 2018, which recognized Administration Project customary land rights in Liberia for the first time in the country's history. INVESTMENT: The pilots were implemented in 4 communities, consisting of about 29,529 US$7m community members. TIMEFRAME: 2018-2023 The project helped LLA to design and demonstrate streamlined and cost- effective customary land formalization process, leading to the development TEAM LEADER (S): of formal field manuals. Implementation Completion and Results The pilots assisted the target communities to establish Customary Land Report Development and Management Committees (CLDMC). The pilots tested an efficient and open-source data collection method.
