KEY ISSUES & STATUS 4.1 Implementation Status and Key Decisions There are delays in the preparation activities, mainly due to delays in finalizing the technical designs of the water supply and the wastewater management schemes, the on-site sanitation pilots, and the water supply and sanitation facilities in public and social institutions. Several activities have also been initiated for building capacity of the national and local sector institutions, including preparation of the National Water Supply and Sanitation Development Plan, new provisions under the Water Law 303 for increased responsibilities of ANRE (Regulator), strengthening the National Management Information System (MIS), and building technical capacity through Technical University Moldova. 5.
