KEY ISSUES & STATUS Dec 23, 2024 Page 1 of 9 The World Bank Implementation Status & Results Report Log-In Georgia (P169698) 4.1 Implementation Status and Key Decisions The Project’s Implementation Progress (IP) and Achievement of PDO ratings have been downgraded from ‘ Satisfactory’ to ‘Moderately Satisfactory’ due to delays in implementation of key passive infrastructure development contracts under Component 1. These delays have been on account of tender reannouncement, contractor performance in difficult terrain, and weather-related delays. Furthermore, construction costs continue to remain high. The Project has disbursed US$23.4 million (60% of committed amount) and expected to disburse an additional US$2.5 million in the FY25. Co-financing with European Investment Bank (EIB) is effective and contracts under implementation are co-financed. Procurement of active infrastructure under Subcomponent 1.1 is expected to drive disbursement rate higher. 5.
