KEY ISSUES & STATUS 4.1 Implementation Status and Key Decisions The team recognizes works progress on the ground since the last mission in May 2024. Main canal works are ongoing at chainage 26+200 onwards, Secondary Canal 9 works are ongoing, farm development works are ongoing, including feeder canal construction in Block 2, whereas Block 1 is almost completed. Concrete works on structures are ongoing along the main canal. The contractor is fully mobilized with ten parallel teams to accelerate the works. The agricultural activities keep on progressing and the team is making the appropriate linkages with county government, private sector and ongoing development partner programs. The team observed that the nurseries activities, the SRI demonstration farms, the irrigated agriculture model farm, the ongoing training on agriculture and farmer organizations, and the support to local farmers is progressing adequately. 5.
