KEY ISSUES & STATUS 4.1 Implementation Status and Key Decisions The aim of the project was to improve access to, and utilization of, health, nutrition, and population and gender-based violence response services among the host community and the displaced Rohingya population in Cox’s Bazar district. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), the primary implementing agency, contracted four United Nations agencies to implement specific project activities. These were the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the World Health Organization (WHO), the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). The choice of these agencies was aligned with their comparative advantage in similar refugee and fragility-related contexts. All three project development objective (PDO) indicators and 16 intermediate results indicators have achieved their end-of-project targets. The project will close on December 31, 2024 5.
