It has been a valuable tool for 25 governmental and non-governmental users, with 20 signing protocols. The registry initiated a new data collection process aiming to update and extend its coverage, enhancing its effectiveness in coordinating social and humanitarian programs. To date, the update is complete in 52 Moughataas out of 63, and the registry aims for complete the updates by the end of 2024. Meanwhile, the Tekavoul Social Transfer Program covers 98,322 extremely poor households, funded by both the project and the government’s budget. The program has expanded to include Nouakchott and increased transfer values as per its commitment. Additionally, the Shock-Response Program, established through the Shock Response Framework, reached 26,056 food-insecure households in 2023, complemented by the creation and operationalization of the National Fund for the Response to Food and Nutritional Insecurity in May 2022, marking its pilot use for the 2023 lean season. The government is planning to support 10,340 households through Elmaouna and 24,600 households through Tekavoul choc during the 2024 lean season. Français Le Registre social national a atteint une couverture nationale, regroupant des données complètes sur 307 042 foyers. Il s'est avéré être un outil précieux pour 25 utilisateurs gouvernementaux et non gouvernementaux, dont 20 ont signé des protocoles. Le registre a lancé un nouveau processus de collecte de données visant à les mettre à jour et à étendre sa couverture, améliorant ainsi son efficacité dans la coordination des programmes sociaux et humanitaires. A ce jour, la mise à jour a été achevée dans 51 moughataas sur 63, et le registre vise des mises à jour complètes d'ici la fin de 2024.
