The work is progressing well in all the countries for their respective project components. With the Bank Board endorsed Approach Paper 3.0 for Afghanistan on February 15, 2024 it enables resumption of CASA-1000 implementation in Afghanistan using previously approved IDA funds by direct payment to the contractors and consultants, and a few other changes in the implementation set up. Community Support Program (CSP): The CASA project designed to support communities with various types of social amenities along the corridors of the transmission line is progressing well. The community support programs is in active implementation in two countries in Tajikistan and Kyrgyz Republic and has been closed in Afghanistan and Pakistan. 5.
