KEY ISSUES & STATUS 4.1 Implementation Status and Key Decisions The mission assessed that the PDO remains relevant as a key contributor to the government’s poverty reduction objective. While the project experienced delays during the earlier years of implementation brought about by the COVID- 19 pandemic, it has picked up pace since the last implementation support mission--with the respective PDO indicators having either exceeded or substantially achieved the project’s end targets. The project’s execution has picked up the pace, with 26 BPls currently under implementation, while 13 new BPls have been endorsed by the Advisory and Endorsement Committee (AEC) and are at various stages of being ready to sign matching grant agreements (MGAs). 5.
