KEY ISSUES & STATUS Jun 27, 2024 Page 1 of 7 The World Bank Implementation Status & Results Report Kakheti Connectivity Improvement Project (P173782) 4.1 Implementation Status and Key Decisions The project continues to make satisfactory progress under Component 1 covering the civil works contract for the construction of the Sagarejo-Badiauri section (Lot 3) of the Tbilisi-Bakurtsikhe-Lagodekhi highway. Physical progress achieved by the contractor is approximately 8.2 percent against a target of 14.8 percent. The Contractor was advised to have in place an approved program aligned with necessary resources for the remaining work that will allow efficient monitoring by the supervision engineer. This will enable the contractor to successfully implement the contract within the remaining 17-month period. The mission is pleased to note the positive attitude towards safeguards and their effective implementation, including maintenance of health and safety standards at the camp site. 5.
