KEY ISSUES & STATUS 4.1 Implementation Status and Key Decisions Overall, the progress towards achievement of the project development objective (PDO) is satisfactory. Out of six PDO indicators, three indicators (hours of water supply, operating cost ratio, and the approved and adopted strategic development plan) and seven out of 15 intermediate indicators have been achieved. All other indicators are on track to be fully achieved by the revised closing date (June 30, 2026). A cumulative 41 (out of the planned 57) water supply sub-projects have been completed to date, benefitting 146,666 people in 65 rural villages. The rehabilitation of sanitation facilities was completed in 65 out of 99 social institutions, benefiting 31,887 children and 2,103 teachers. Under the results-based incentive grants program, 810 households have received incentive grants. 5.
