The additional financing of US$ 150 million was approved on December 1, 2022 and was declared effective on February 2, 2023. To date, project interventions have directly benefited more than 1 million people, exceeding the revised/increased target at appraisal (1 million people). The number of indirect beneficiaries can be as high as 3.5 million people (individuals) and will be estimated as part of the evaluation for the mid-term review planned in September 2024.
