KEY ISSUES & STATUS Jun 13, 2024 Page 1 of 7 The World Bank Implementation Status & Results Report Social Protection COVID-19 response and recovery (P178018) 4.1 Implementation Status and Key Decisions Over the past six months, the Project has made significant progress in meeting its PDOs. The Vulnerable Families Program (PFV) expanded to 5,000 households, with payments to be completed by May 2024. The updated Single Social Registry (CSU) now covers over 8,000 families (57% women and girls) and is managed directly by the Directorate of Social Protection, Solidarity, and Family (DPSSF). The new National Social Protection Information System, "Ké-Non," installed at the Institute of Innovation and Knowledge (INIC), hosts all updated data from the CSU and PFV, and continues to evolve with additional modules. With the recent expansion of the VFP, there is a need to enhance the capacity of social technicians to monitor and assist VFP families. Furthermore, it is important to continue developing the Kenon System and bolster the capacities of DPSSF for the management of Ké-Non. 5.
