KEY ISSUES & STATUS 4.1 Implementation Status and Key Decisions The World Bank Board of Executive Directors approved Additional Financing (AF) in the amount of US$13.6 million (US$11 million IDA credit and US$2.6 million from the Central Asia Water and Energy Program—CAWEP grants) for the TA Project on July 11, 2024. The project effectiveness of the AF is March 31, 2025. Meanwhile, the consultant for the updating of the Feasibility Study has been hired and are onboard (Component 1), the consultant for the preparation of environmental and social impact assessment and management plan and benefit sharing aspects of Kambarata-1 HPP has been hired and are on board (Component 2), the preliminary plan on sustainable financing was presented in January, and the procurement of consultancy services to support the preparation of a commercial framework are ongoing (Component 3), and international specialists are hired to provide support to the Government of Kyrgyz Republic with procurement and E&S management (Component 4). 5.
