4.1 Implementation Status and Key Decisions
The mission reviewed implementation progress since the September 2024 mission and lessons learned
from the past 16 months since project effectiveness. The project has made Moderately Satisfactory progress.
AKF- Afghanistan, the Danish Committee for Aide to Afghan Refugees (DACAAR), and ActionAid have all started
community consultation, priority action identification, and technical package design. As of January 2025, both implementing
agencies have agreed with stakeholders on geographical coverage and project activities and have proceeded with site
investigation and technical package development. Both AKF and UNOPS teams are expected to see physical activities
commencing by the end of February 2025.
