KEY ISSUES & STATUS 4.1 Implementation Status and Key Decisions The PDOremains relevant. Enhancing road connectivity is among the highest priorities of the Government as per the ARRESTagenda. Infrastructure development is one of the six pillars with the strategic goal to develop modern and climate resilient infrastructure to support socio-economic development. Approximately 35 km out of the 100 km road corridor targeted by the project have been upgraded from unpaved to paved. 19.9 km of this is on the 39 km Ganta Saglepie road (Lot 1) which is fully financed by the GOL, and 15.1 km on the 61 km Sagleplie Tappita road (Lot 2) which is co-financed by IDA, LRTF, and the GOL. Despite this progress, some sections of the 100 km road are still severely affected by the rainy season. 4.2 Guarantee Conditions Precedent Description Status 5 GUARANTEES 5.1 Guarantee Information Guarantee Type Project-Based Guarantee Coverage Enclave Guarantee Guarantee Beneficiary Type of Implementing Public Guarantee Fees Entity Are guarantees fee Guarantee fees payment current? due dates 6.
