3.      The Executive Directors approved the minutes of the meeting held on December 2, 1999
(M99-63[IDA/M99-62]) and December 7, 1999 (M99-64[IDA/M99-63]).

4.       The Executive Directors discussed and noted the following reports entitled: (i) Managing
Development Effectiveness - An Overview of FY99 Apex Evaluation Reports (SecM99-741);
(ii) 1999 Annual Review of Development Effectiveness (ARDE) - Towards a Comprehensive
Development Strategy (R99-218); (iii) 1999 Report on Operations Evaluation (AROE) (R99-217); and
Annual Report on Portfolio Performance (APRR) - Fiscal Year 1999 (R99-212).

Date of Next Meeting

5.      It was agreed to hold a meeting of the Executive Directors of the Bank and IDA on Thursday.
January 20, 2000.

Postponement of Informal Meetings

7.      The three informal meetings to discuss the Outlines of the 2000 Annual Reports (IBRD/IDA -
SecM99-802; IFC - IFC/SecM99-89; MIGA - MIGA/SecM99-40) were postponed to a date to be
determined.
