Project Objectives The main objective of the project is to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the national statistical system to enable it to provide relevant, timely and reliable data for evidence- based policy making in support of Government’s MDG-based National Development Strategy (NDS) and the process of economic development. 3. Project Description This is a Specific Investment Credit under the umbrella of the STATCAP Adaptable Program Loan and based on the National Strategy for the Development of Statistics (NSDS).
