The Ministry of Education and Research has proactively sought to address these challenges. To allow sufficient time for the completion of project activities and account for COVID-19 imposed delays, the project closing date was extended by eight months, from April 30, 2022 to December 31, 2022. The Project restructuring was approved on August 11, 2021 and the notice was sent to the Government on August 14, 2021. Moving forward, the Ministry of Education and Research and Moldova Social Investment Fund are closely monitoring and adapting the implementation of activities that have been impacted by the pandemic to ensure their implementation and timely completion.
