Bangladesh: Skills and Training Enhancement Project
(Grant No. TF015113)
Amendment to the Grant Agreement
We refer to the Grant Agreement dated December 5, 2013, between the People's Republic of
Bangladesh (the "Recipient") and the International Development Association (the "World Bank")
acting as administrator of the Trust Fund for the Multi-Donor Trust Fund Support for the Bangladesh
Skills and Training Enhancement Project, for the above-mentioned Project (the "Grant Agreement").
We are pleased to inform you that we have received the third tranche payment from the
Government of Canada, as represented by the Minister of International Development, acting through
the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade, and Development of Canada (the "Donor") in the amount
of three million six hundred twenty-two thousand and seventeen United States Dollars
(US$3,622,017). Accordingly, the World Bank proposes to amend the Grant Agreement as follows:
1. Paragraph 3.01 of Article III to the Grant Agreement is amended to read as follows:
"3.01. The World Bank agrees to extend to the Recipient, on the terms and conditions set
forth or referred to in this Agreement, a grant in an amount equal to fourteen million
seven hundred ninety-seven thousand eight hundred thirty-one United States Dollars
(US$14,797,831) ("Grant") to assist in the financing the Project."

2. The table under Section IV.A.2 of Schedule 2 to the Grant Agreement is amended as follows:

Except as specifically amended by this letter of amendment, all other provisions of the Grant
agreement shall remain unchanged and in full force and effect.
Please confirm your agreement to the foregoing on behalf of the Recipient by countersigning
and dating the corresponding form of confirmation set forth below, and returning one fully signed
original of this letter to us.
Upon receipt by the World Bank of the copy of this letter of amendment duly countersigned
by the authorized representative of the Recipient, the above amendments to the Grant Agreement shall
become effective as of the date of countersignature.
