This Indigenous Peoples Policy Framework (June 2014 version) is an updated version of the IP Framework of PIDP
(IPP314) dated November 2006. The original document was reviewed and updated as per WB requirement for the
approval of the Project restructuring. This version is a product of consultations undertaken in Luzon, Visayas and
Mindanao last March 16-22, 2014 and participated by 6 Regions with PIDP covered systems and attended by a multi-
sectoral representation. Two PIDP Safeguards staff and an Environmental Specialist of the NIA Environmental and
Watershed Management Section undertook the consultation and the drafting of this instrument. This final version will
be uploaded for disclosure in the NIA website and in the World Bank’s InfoShop.
