Despite delays in implementation associated with the COVID-19 sanitary pandemic and subsequent Eta and Iota hurricane emergencies, progress has been made in implementing key activities. The Municipality of Tegucigalpa's (AMDC) and its Project Coordination Unit (PCU) have completed the following activities: (i) recruitment of key staff; (ii) approval of the new Municipal Water and Sanitation Provider’s (UMAPS) governance framework; and (iii) development of UMAPS gender policy.
