The closing date of the loan is 30 September 2017. There are still to be disbursed US $ 34.5 million over the next 15 months. It is critical to accelerate the ongoing procurement processes and the implementation of works and other activities to use all the funds available. Component 1: DAPSAN new management is strongly committed to accelerate all projected activities and increase sector stakeholders coordination. SEAM has successfully implemented the framework to improve water resources monitoring and management in 5 most importantt water basins of the country. ERSAN is about to complete successfully an important study to improve the regulatory framework and the tariff structure. Component 2: ESSAP: 100 percent of the 57 Km of secondary distribution water network have been rehabilitated benefiting 306,285 beneficiaries; 95 percent of the rehabilitation of the 8,4 km of sanitation network have been completed that would benefit at 288,435 ; 55 percent of the construction of 33 Km of primary sanitation collectors in the watershed of Itay have been completed and 68,261 new water meters out of the 110.000 financed by the project have been installed. ESSAP continues to improve its technical and commercial efficiency. Non accounted water rate has improved from 50% to 47%. ESSAP should continue its efforts toward a greater technical and commercial efficiency. The hydraulic backfilling of the site for the contruction of the Bella Vista Wastewater Treatment Plant Bella Vista and the houses for the affected families is progressing as scheduled. The backfilling of the housing area is expected to be completed in August 2016, which would entail the beginning of its construction in November the same year, with a construction time of 10 months. In addition, the field of the WWTP would be in condition to start work in March 2017. The Itay sanitation system would be completed with the construction of the subaquatic outfall (currently under biding), the two sewerage collectors (Biding document under preparation) and the Bella Vista Waste Water Treatment Plant. Component 3: SENASA has recently signed 3 out the 5 contracts to start the construction of water supply systems in 17 out of the 31 indigenous communities in Chaco.. The remaining two contracts are under bidding for 14 communities. SENASA, the Municipalities, civil society, NGo's and communities are working closely together in planning and developement of a long term tecnical support to communities in Chaco. This is a best practice. SENASA has already installed 1,090 latrines in indigenous communities in Chaco providing basic sanitation to 6.190 beneficiaries and completed the construction of 30 rural water supply systems serving 12.000 beneficiaries in December 2013. 6/10/2016 Page 2 of 11 Public Disclosure Copy Public Disclosure Copy The World Bank Implementation Status & Results Report PY Water & Sanitation Sector Modernization (P095235) 6/10/2016 Page 3 of 11 Public Disclosure Copy Public Disclosure Copy The World Bank Implementation Status & Results Report PY Water & Sanitation Sector Modernization (P095235) Risks Systematic Operations Risk-rating Tool Risk Category Rating at Approval Previous Rating Current Rating Political and Governance  --  Moderate  Moderate Macroeconomic  --  Moderate  Moderate Sector Strategies and Policies  --  Substantial  Substantial Technical Design of Project or Program  --  High  High Institutional Capacity for Implementation and Sustainability  --  Moderate  Moderate Fiduciary  --  Moderate  Moderate Environment and Social  --  High  High Stakeholders  --  High  High Other  --  --  -- Overall  --  High  High Results Project Development Objective Indicators 6/10/2016 Page 4 of 11 Public Disclosure Copy Public Disclosure Copy The World Bank Implementation Status & Results Report PY Water & Sanitation Sector Modernization (P095235) PHINDPDOTBL  Water and Sewerage Services Unit within the MOPC staffed and equipped, defining the policies for the sector (Text, Custom) Baseline Actual (Previous) Actual (Current) End Target Value No yes yes Yes Date 14-May-2009 01-Oct-2015 16-May-2016 30-Sep-2017 PHINDPDOTBL  Timely availability of ESSAP's external auditing of financial and performance data published through an annual report in ESSAP's website (Text, Custom) Baseline Actual (Previous) Actual (Current) End Target Value No yes yes Yes Date 14-May-2009 01-Oct-2015 16-May-2016 30-Sep-2017 PHINDPDOTBL  Direct project beneficiaries (Number, Core) Baseline Actual (Previous) Actual (Current) End Target Value 0.00 26000.00 332000.00 1370000.00 Date -- 28-Dec-2015 16-May-2016 30-Sep-2017 PHINDPDOTBL  Female beneficiaries (Percentage, Core Supplement) Baseline Actual (Previous) Actual (Current) End Target Value 0.00 13000.00 166000.00 685000.00 PHINDPDOTBL  Number of people in rural areas provided with access to Improved Water Sources under the project (Number, Core) Baseline Actual (Previous) Actual (Current) End Target Value 0.00 12000.00 12000.00 18000.00 6/10/2016 Page 5 of 11 Public Disclosure Copy Public Disclosure Copy The World Bank Implementation Status & Results Report PY Water & Sanitation Sector Modernization (P095235) Date -- 01-Oct-2015 16-May-2016 30-Sep-2017 PHINDPDOTBL  People provided with access to "improved sanitation facilities” under the proj.
