Implementation Status and Key Decisions
The project has progressed well despite challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. The start of the first works in the prefectures of Dubréka,
Dalaba and Pita has been delayed to December 2020 after completion of the compensation process for the 12 persons identified under the
Reinstallation Action Plan (PAR). Additional revisions are needed to the project safeguard documents as a result of revisions done to the list of
project roads to be rehabilitated. The next six months of the project implementation will be critical to avoid any slippage in the schedule and to
speed up the implementation of the project.
