The placement of over 9,000 student teachers in rural areas greatly reduces the rural-urban disparity in pupil teacher. Substantial school grant allows schools to purchase critical items for improving access and learning. A school bursary program has provided over 20,000 bursaries to needy students. However, the project has faced some problems including slow classroom construction.
