The only exception is the Eco-City Advisory Panel consultants, who will be hired later. Consultants have already mobilized to prepare the overall monitoring framework for the project and to develop an institutional, regulatory and financial framework for SSTEC (component 1-B). Consultants have also mobilized to prepare the public transport plan under the second component. Progress under the Green Building Pilot is advancing, with construction of the public housing complex reaching the final stages; Page 1 of 4 The World Bank Report No: ISR4787 however construction of the public school is still at early stage. The adoption of energy efficient technologies in the pilot public buildings could not be done in time due to scheduling conflicts and design changes. SSTECAC agreed to adopt such technologies in future housing complexes and/or public schools to be built in SSTEC.
