The Minister of Finance has signed the Supplemental Letter No. 2 and the restructuring is now effective. The Restructuring modified one project outcome indicator and related target values such that data collection is feasible. The Restructuring also revised four intermediate indicators and added two new ones based on the actual support extended under the Project. The present ISR has incorporated the restructuring results. An implementation support mission is planned for the end of June 2013. Page 1 of 7 The World Bank Report No: ISR10735 While the project implementation is progressing based on approved annual plan, the following results have already been achieved: - 45 different technical and thematic training were organized for 1,708 staff of 38 government agencies and academic institutions. Public Disclosure Copy - Training centers have been established at Architecture and Construction University and State Economic University. - Existing bachelor and master programs on water and waste water management were modernized and a new master program on solid waste management has been launched at Azerbaijan Architecture and Construction University. - New master program on project management has been established at the Public Administration Academy and certification course on project management, co-financed by British Petroleum, is delivered at Khazar University. - Major consultancy funded by the Project is underway to support the efforts of the Ministry of Economic Development in improving public investment management system. - The project website is active and populated with information on upcoming and completed training courses and course materials. The website is also used for the tendering process and for reporting on project progress to the public.
