Key actions that have been completed include: (i) First round of Academic Innovation Funds was launched. Selection process of AIF grants is fully completed; (ii) The tender for the development of the Higher Education Management System (HEMIS) was launched in December 2018; and (iii) The tender for the purchase of Labs to improve the learning environment at Universities is expected to be launched in January 2019.
