MIDIS is effectively fulfilling its role of guiding and coordinating the social inclusion policy in Peru. It has developed innovative tools for intersectoral coordination that are in operation, such as the reformulation of the household targeting system and its implementation nationwide, the FED (Performance Incentives Fund) to ensure compliance with the targets of the Early Childhood Development Policy, "First Children", and the coordination of the new strategyto provide mobile services to people in remote areas of the country, among other relevant initiatives. The financial implementation of the project has also progressed susbtantially, having already contracted activities that will account for about 75 per cent of project resources.
