Resources from five out of the six GFRP Trust Funds have been fully disbursed while US$1.1 million balance from the GFRP is fully committed. Fifty six percent of the US9.0 million IDA Grant has also been disbursed. Aggregate disbursement stands at 82 percent of total project proceeds. Contracting for NGOs and the WFP for work under the IDA Grant were finalized and most of the work already undertaken. The WFP finalized the contract to provide direct food support to segments of the population that were had been displaced by the conflict. As of this reporting, the number of farmers adopting improved technologies for food production stands at 251,350, compared to 224,603 farmers at the last reporting and an end of project target of 229800 farmers. The number of vulnerable people benefitting from unconditional food or cash transfers stands at 17,600- all reached through the WFP. The number of farmers adopting new practices and initiatives for postharvest handling and management rose from 100,911 to 101,070 (compared to an end of project target of 100700). The number of hectares of idle land brought back into production rose from 40,958 to 63,247, against and end of project target of 38800. The number of participants in public works program rose from 38,628 to 39,668 of which 61% are youth.
