Progress toward achievement of the project development objectives and in implementation is moderately satisfactory. Training of 650 teachers to convert them from Arts to Math and Science teachers in underway. Designs for the construction of laboratories, additional classrooms and resource centers in the selected secondary schools which will act as hubs for other schools in the vicinity have also been completed and contracts are expected to be signed shortly. The first round of school grants will be disbursed to schools in May.
