In the selected communes, households will receive 35,000 CFA francs per quarter over a period of three years as well as accompanying measures for early childhood development. In addition, in accordance with the government's request, the beneficiaries also include internally displaced persons based on lists established by the government and selected according to the same vulnerability criteria as the host population. In June 2021 and in October 2021, 78 716 recipients (from which 19 896 internally displaced) have received the regular cash transfer. Furthermore, vulnerable populations in the intervention areas benefited from a first seasonal cash transfer in September 2021 to cope with the cumulative shocks of Covid-19 and the drought. A second transfer is planned in November 2021. Beginning in March 2022, the project aims to support additional vulnerable households in the Centre and Sahel regions, as well as additional communes in the Boucle du Mouhoun Region (this last area will be supported by financing from the Emergency Local Development and Resilience Project - PUDTR). This ISR follows a world bank supervision mission held in October 2021. The next supervision mission will be held in January 2022.
