Seventeen subprojects are now under implementation under the Energy Efficiency Services Industry Component. Construction of the Anqiu Biomass Combined Heat and Power (CHP) plant is ongoing and is planned to begin supplying heat in November 2015 and delivering electricity in January 2016. The three implementing companies under the Energy Efficiency Service Industry Component continue to face tough challenges from the overall economic environment and slowdown in industrial demand. Further efforts are urgently needed to accelerate project implementation and disbursement. 6/16/2015 Page 2 of 8 Public Disclosure Copy Public Disclosure Copy The World Bank Implementation Status & Results Report Shandong Energy Efficiency Project (P114069) Risks Systematic Operations Risk-rating Tool Risk Category Rating at Approval Previous Rating Current Rating Political and Governance  --  Low  Low Macroeconomic  --  Moderate  Substantial Sector Strategies and Policies  --  Low  Low Technical Design of Project or Program  --  Moderate  Moderate Institutional Capacity for Implementation and Sustainability  --  Substantial  Substantial Fiduciary  --  Moderate  Moderate Environment and Social  --  Moderate  Moderate Stakeholders  --  Low  Low Other  --  --  -- Overall  --  Moderate  Moderate Results 6/16/2015 Page 3 of 8 Public Disclosure Copy Public Disclosure Copy The World Bank Implementation Status & Results Report Shandong Energy Efficiency Project (P114069) Project Development Objective Indicators PHINDPDOTBL  Associated annual energy savings capacity ('000 tce) (Number, Custom) Baseline Actual (Previous) Actual (Current) End Target Value 0.00 89.74 146.03 397.00 Date 31-May-2011 31-Oct-2014 30-Apr-2015 30-Sep-2016 PHINDPDOTBL  Associated cumulative amount of funds leveraged by WB loan for energy efficiency projects (US$M) (Amount(USD), Custom) Baseline Actual (Previous) Actual (Current) End Target Value 0.00 17.20 34.26 134.00 Date 31-May-2011 31-Oct-2014 30-Apr-2015 30-Sep-2016 PHINDPDOTBL  Associated cumulative incremental amount of electricity (GWh) from biomass based heat andpower generation (Gigawatt, Custom) Baseline Actual (Previous) Actual (Current) End Target Value 0.00 0.00 0.00 165.00 Date 31-May-2011 31-Oct-2014 30-Apr-2015 30-Sep-2016 PHINDPDOTBL  Associated cumulative incremental amount of electricity & heat (coverage m2) from biomass based heat & power gener (Meter(m), Custom) Baseline Actual (Previous) Actual (Current) End Target Value 0.00 0.00 0.00 700.00 Date 31-May-2011 31-Oct-2014 30-Apr-2015 30-Sep-2016 PHINDPDOTBL  Generation Capacity of Renewable Energy (other than hydropower) constructed (Megawatt, Core) Baseline Actual (Previous) Actual (Current) End Target 6/16/2015 Page 4 of 8 Public Disclosure Copy Public Disclosure Copy The World Bank Implementation Status & Results Report Shandong Energy Efficiency Project (P114069) Value 0.00 0.00 0.00 30.00 Date 31-May-2011 31-Oct-2014 30-Apr-2015 30-Sep-2016 PHINDPDOTBL  Generation Capacity of Renewable Energy constructed -
