During the nine months following the MTR, the project team and the Bank team have Page 1 of 6 The World Bank Report No: ISR3033 closely worked together to define the adjustments to be made in order to put the project back on track: the proposed changes cover institutional, technical and fiduciary aspects. The restructuring of the project got approved by the Board on May13th, 2011. Public Disclosure Copy The project is now back on track and major improvements are already noticeable: (i) activities on the ground are implemented according to a clearly defined 2-year Action Plan, (ii) disbursement rate has significantly improved (51 per cent) and commitment amounts to about 75 per cent, (iii) results framework is in place and operational and (iv) safeguards capacities have been reinforced both within the governmental entities and NGOs providing support to the National Parks.
