Implementation Status and Key Decisions
The Project has disbursed US$ 74.40 million (68%) of the Bank’s financing against an original estimation of US$ 109.0 million to be utilized by
September 30, 2021. The project has performed satisfactorily and could have disbursed more but for the rapid expansion of COVID cases. The
project is left with 11 months of implementation period, and given the evolving COVID scenario it may require extension to disburse the remaining
32 per cent of the project budget. To this effect, the project need to expedite implementation pace and execute all planned activities towards
meeting its outcome targets within the project closure schedule.

Overall Comments PDO
COVID crisis did pose few challenges in collecting field data from the sample villages. Yet, third party monitoring agency could manage to get
most of it. We will further assess these data base once covid situation improves.

Despite the pandemic setback, all four components indicators are showing progressing trends.
This was a virtual mission and we will undertake an actual mission sometime during the month of February 2021 - with an assumption that the
covid crisis will me normalized by then.
