Dear Mr. van Trotsenburg,
We hereby notify the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development
("IBRD"), as Trustee of the Trust Fund for the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and
Malaria (the "Trust Fund") that the Secretariat of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS,
Tuberculosis and Malaria (the "Global Fund") has instructed Credit Suisse Bank to transfer
from the Global Fund's account at Credit Suisse to the IBRD Four hundred fifty eight
thc:usand, two hundred seventy two and 62/100 US dollars (USD 458,272.62) as a grant to
the Trust Fund (MTO 069001) from the Global Fund. The Grant consists of contributions
received by the Global Fund from (PRODUCT)RED and its partners (the "Contributors").
The Global Fund agrees that the IBRD shall administer these funds in accordance
with the terms and conditions of the agreement dated as of May 31, 2002 between the
Global Fund and the IBRD (the "Trust Fund Agreement").
The Global Fund understands that the Global Fund shall be considered as the Donor
of this Grant and that the IBRD shall not have any obligations under the Trust Fund
Agreement to the above referred contributors.
