The MFIDS also provides regular cash transfers to around 4,700 households that are beneficiaries of the Rendimento do Inclusao Social (RSI). In addition, and as a response to the COVID-19 crisis, another 21,000 households are being supported with temporary emergency cash transfers for a period of 6 months to alleviate the negative economic impact of the pandemic. As a result, over 138,000 people have been supported – beyond the end target of 120,000 for the project. Also, according to a recently concluded beneficiary satisfaction survey for the RSI program, 95 percent of the program beneficiaries report that they are satisfied or very satisfied with the program and 72 percent report that cash transfers supported their basic consumption needs. MFIDS is also making further progress on the preparation for the productive inclusion activities expected to commence implementation in November 2021, providing additional support to a sub-set of RSI beneficiary households to strengthen their resilience and employability. 11/10/2021 Page 1 of 6 The World Bank Implementation Status & Results Report Social Inclusion Project (P165267) Risks Systematic Operations Risk-rating Tool Risk Category Rating at Approval Previous Rating Current Rating Political and Governance Low Moderate Low Macroeconomic Low Moderate Moderate Sector Strategies and Policies Low Low Low Technical Design of Project or Program Moderate Moderate Moderate Institutional Capacity for Implementation and Moderate Moderate Moderate Sustainability Fiduciary Substantial Substantial Substantial Environment and Social Low Low Low Stakeholders Moderate Moderate Moderate Other -- Moderate Moderate Overall Moderate Moderate Moderate Results PDO Indicators by Objectives / Outcomes Enhanced effectiveness of social protection system IN01036071 ►Beneficiaries of social safety net programs (Number, Corporate) Baseline Actual (Previous) Actual (Current) End Target Value 0.00 88,814.00 138,357.00 120,000.00 Date 13-Sep-2018 09-Jun-2021 15-Oct-2021 14-Oct-2022 IN01036074 Beneficiaries of social safety net programs - Female (Number, Corporate Supplement) Baseline Actual (Previous) Actual (Current) End Target Value 0.00 46,717.00 72,775.00 63,600.00 IN01036075 Beneficiaries of Safety Nets programs - Unconditional cash transfers (number) (Number, Corporate Breakdown) 11/10/2021 Page 2 of 6 The World Bank Implementation Status & Results Report Social Inclusion Project (P165267) Baseline Actual (Previous) Actual (Current) End Target Value 0.00 88,815.00 138,357.00 120,000.00 Date 13-Sep-2018 09-Jun-2021 15-Oct-2021 14-Oct-2022 IN01036076 ►Beneficiary households of RSI in Q1 and Q2 of the income distribution (Percentage, Custom) Baseline Actual (Previous) Actual (Current) End Target Value 0.00 100.00 100.00 90.00 Date 13-Sep-2018 09-Jun-2021 15-Oct-2021 14-Oct-2022 Enhanced efficiency of the social protection sector IN01036072 ►Number of RSI beneficiary households benefitting from productive inclusion activities (Number, Custom) Baseline Actual (Previous) Actual (Current) End Target Value 0.00 0.00 0.00 2,000.00 Date 13-Sep-2018 09-Jun-2021 15-Oct-2021 14-Oct-2022 Selection of beneficiaries has been finalized and MFISD is expecting to commence the implementation in Comments: November 2021.
