Latest calculations indicate a significant improvement of reading and math performance for children living in remote/difficult to access areas as well as children in schools with a high concentration of Indigenous Peoples. Additional progress has been made in the adoption of the information strategy to better support disadvantaged groups, which will be critical for the development of the information system that is supposed to consolidate the data from different sources, including outside the Department of Education. In fact, most activities are either in the process of being completed or have been fully completed as the project enters its last year of implementation.
