The present level of commitments reached close to 20% of the Grant amount with additional 18% of funds expected to be committed in Q3 of 2013. The present disbursement rate of USD 60,000 reflects initial funds disbursement upon Grant effectiveness. Due to a problem of access to the on-line Client Connection application Page 1 of 3 The World Bank Report No: ISR10065 (a loss of tokens), CAPJ was unable to process new withdrawals from the main fund. This issues is expected to be resolved by mid-May, which will facilitate new Grant disbursements. The Bank team conducted an implementation support visit in December 2012, which was useful in resolving procurement issues. Following that the Bank procurement team visited Santiago twice and further supported CAPJ in managing procurement processes. Public Disclosure Copy To facilitate contacts of the Supreme Court of Chile with similar institutions over the world, the Bank facilitated contacts between the Presidency of the Supreme Court in Chile with the Global Forum for Justice and Law. The participation of Chilean Supreme Court in this Global Forum is potentially beneficial for Chile as well as other members of this forum, aimed at creating and sharing knowledge on legal and judicial issues. Notwithstanding delays in mobilizing Grant activities and slow disbursements, the CAPJ remains committed to achievement of Grant development objective and is getting on track with Grant activities, trying to overcome the past delays.
