                                              1.1 Cash Transfers
 ❖ Provide dedicated cash and in-kind transfers to help beneficiaries cope with impacts of
   climate change
 ❖ Target cash transfer programs specifically to beneficiaries who are vulnerable to climate
   change risks
                                         1.2 Emergency Response
 ❖ Develop early warning systems for climate-related disasters
 ❖ Provide emergency cash transfers in response to onset of climate-related disasters
                           1.3 Enhancing Feeding/Nutrition Outcomes
 If climate change is one of the drivers behind food insecurity in your project area:
 ❖ Provide nutrition services to prevent malnutrition and stunting
 ❖ Undertake awareness raising and behavior-change initiatives to improve nutrition
      practices
 ❖ Use e-voucher schemes for distribution of agriculture subsidies and/or food rations
                                           1.4 Livelihood Support
 If climate change will affect agricultural productivity and beneficiaries’ livelihoods depend
 on it:
 ❖ Promote adoption of climate-smart agriculture practices
 ❖ Design and implement livelihood support/diversification initiatives
                                                  1.5 Public Health
 ❖ Undertake awareness raising and behavior-change initiatives to prevent the spread of
   vector-borne diseases exacerbated by climate change (e.g., promotion of good hygiene
   and sanitation, etc.)
                       1.6 Public Works and Cash-for-Work Programs
 Undertake projects that contribute to climate change adaptation, such as:
 Flood management
 ❖ Construction of flood protection barriers, levees, dikes, etc.
 Water and soil conservation
 ❖ Rehabilitation of canals and other irrigation infrastructure to address climate-induced
     water-scarcity
 ❖ Soil and water conservation measures against climate risks
 Agriculture
 ❖ Planting nutritional crops and trees to address climate change-related drought and food
     scarcity
 ❖ Improved seeds and cropping practices that increase resilience to climate change risks
                                   1.7 Community Infrastructure

 ❖ Incorporate climate-resilient design measures in the construction of community
   infrastructure (include description of how measures directly address climate
   vulnerability)
 ❖ Equip community infrastructure, such as schools and hospitals, to function as evacuation
   spaces and/or shelters for climate change-induced crisis
                   1.8 Development of Policies, Programs, and Systems
 ❖ Scale-up social safety programs in response to climate change-induced disasters
 ❖ Undertake programs targeting individuals vulnerable to climate change-risks
 ❖ Improve institutional coordination to respond to climate change-induced crises (describe
   specific, climate-related measures/activities)

 Undertake the following sub-project types:
 Agriculture:
 ❖ Agroforestry (describe specific measures)
 ❖ Climate-smart agriculture (describe specific measures)
 ❖ Terracing and gully rehabilitation
 Forestry:
 ❖ Afforestation in non-forested land
 ❖ Sustainable forest management
 ❖ Human-assisted natural regeneration
 Soil conservation:
 ❖ Improving soil health
 ❖ Rehabilitation of degraded land
                                      2.2 Community Infrastructure
 Energy efficiency:
 ❖ Incorporate energy efficiency measures in design and construction of community
    infrastructure
 ❖ Use energy efficient equipment (describe specific EE standards equipment meets and/or
    expected GHG impact)
 Renewable energy:
 ❖ Use equipment or appliance that is designed specifically to use renewable energy
 ❖ Install solar panels for energy use in community infrastructure
