institutional improvements and selective investments in rehabilitation and replacement of deteriorated water supply, wastewater and solid waste systems.

Implementation Status Overview
Three years and half years after effectiveness (November 10, 2008), the project continues making implementation progress, with total commitments (104 signed contracts ) totaling
USD 77,8 million. As of March 20, contractual commitments amount to 56% of loan amount. All participating cities have their procurement processes ongoing for the total amount of
the project, at different stages. Finally, the two cities with substantial delays (Odessa and Kremenchuk), made substantial progress with 3 contracts awarded (one with two lots) for a
total of USD 41.2 million during this fiscal year, and 2 other ongoing procurement processes in advanced stage.

The project has disbursed USD 17 million in fiscal year 2012 of which USD 4.6 million in calendar year 2012. As of March 20 the project had disbursed a total of USD 32 million (23%
of the project total amount).
