The relocated lateral canal would traverse the farms owned by three farmers whose aggregate total land holding is 14.2432 ha. Negotiations for the needed ROW have been easy because the farmers knew the benefits of having an irrigation system that is functioning well. As such, the acquired ROW has a total of 2,465 sq m at a cost of P147,900.00. NIA has acquired this under a canal ROW Agreement with the three farmers. The relationship of the title of the late Mr. Bernardo Felipe, to the signatories are as follows: a. Rhea F. Catabian is the daughter while Rornrnel Y. Catabian is the son in law. The said cou~leis the legal heir of the said lot. b. Severo Ubaldo Jr. and Florencio Ubaldo are brothers who had bought a portion of the lot of Mr. Bemardo Felipe. The transfer has not been effected so the title to the ROW document is still the mother title. 2. The compensation was valued at P600,000.00 per hectare which is the prevailing price in the locality. 3. The variance in the valuation or cost is the area occupied for Mr. Catabian is 400 sq. meters white Mr. Ubaldo is 440 sq. meters. 4. The MOA is already notarized and are kept in this office and payment thereof and subsequentannotation will be effected upon completionof the canal to be constructed.
