Delays due to COVID and the ongoing balance of payments crises, as well as the changes in the government following the most recent national elections have affected initial implementation progress. However, the two critical project implementation units have been established and been operating effectively since June, 2020. Moreover, technical meetings have been held with the new government teams in charge of project activities, and a set of measures are identified to expedite project implementation.
