The project is still not effective and the Financing Agreement needs to be ratified by Parliament before November 20, 2016. Meanwhile, the PIU has already recruited two experts to help the project team on the eGabon project delivery: one is specialized in national health information systems (NHIS) and the other on setting up and launching incubators. In parallel, multiple procurement activities have been launched. The eGabon project require lots of capacity building to ensure the Client has the right skills to deliver the project. Since May 2016, the Client has performed several study trips (Senegal, Estonia, Benin and Cameroon) on performance- based financing, eHealth and governance, and incubator initiations. This is the Initial ISR. A new ISR will be created after the upcoming implementation support mission scheduled early December.
