    today a booklet entitled, "~UESTIONS AND ANS1'~RS ABOUT THE INTERN.ATICNAL BANK FOR
    RECONSTRUCTION AND DEVELOPMENT"•   In addition to the English edition the booklet

•   is being published in Spanish and French •

             The booklet gives a brief description of the purposes, orgatization, pro-
    cedure and operati~ns ~f the Bar.Jt to date.   It explains, in question and answer
    form, such matters as the Bank's role as both a len1er and a borrower, the
    significant features of the Bank's l~.an agreements, its capital structure and
    sources of lending funds 1 the syetem of supervision which the Bank has established
    over the use ef its loans, and the role of the Bank in connection with the European
    Recovery 'Program•
