The fastest progress has been recorded under Component 1 of the Project. Our team’s estimates show that there are four more PBCs that will be achieved between April and June 2021 which will allow disbursement of a further US$80 million. The Ministry of Social Policy (MoSP) is currently working on new by-laws to enable implementation of the legislative changes to provide activation measures for workable GMI beneficiaries and pilot implementation of complementary services for GMI Program beneficiaries to help them escape from poverty and build their human capital. Under the integrated MIS development the Project is financing the activities related to the supply of computer equipment and furniture to more than 1,400 amalgamated territorial communities (ATCs) and to the National Social Service of Ukraine (NSSU), which restarted after being put on hold for almost half a year, while the application software for E-Social will be developed using GoU and donor funds.
