The Annual budget 2019 will be shortly approved and the project restructured to cover 100% of works with IDA funds. 1/14/2019 Page 1 of 8 The World Bank Implementation Status & Results Report SENEGAL: TRANSPORT & URBAN MOBILITY PROJECT (P101415) Implementation and supervision of the contracts for the rehabilitation of 69 km of inter urban roads linking Lompoul-Leona-Potou-Gandiol are progressing well.  Lot 1: Lompoul –Leona (43 km). The contract was awarded to POWER CHINA. The overall execution rate is 57% as of November 2018 with June 2019 as estimated completion date of all previously planned activities.  Lot 2: Leona-Potou-Gandiol (26 km). The contract was awarded to HENAN CHINE and the execution rate is 70% as of November 2018. It is estimated that the works will be completed by January 2019. An extension of the road leading to the Potou market will be financed by the project and should be completed by April 2019. Implementation and supervision of the contracts for the paving of 30 km of urban roads are progressing well despite slight delays. The reduction of the volume of works will not affect the objective of the project as AGEROUTE is to finalize the paving under an ongoing national project in the area.  Lot 1 : Guediawaye-Grand Yoff- Patte d'Oie (16.5 km). The contract was awarded to SOCETRA and executed at 41% as of November 2018. The length of roads to be paved will be reduced to 14, 9 km in light of the financial constraints and the rate of execution.  Lot 2: Parcelles Assainies- Pikine-Sangalkam-Keur Ndiaye Lo (15.5 km). The contract was awarded to the consortium Gabriel Couto/SOGEC and executed at 40% as of November 2018. The length of roads to be paved will be reduced to 11.8 km as agreed with the enterprises. The environmental and social implementation for all works are rated satisfactory. The paving of the urban roads in Dakar is executed under HIMO with satisfactory results as more than 300 young have been trained of which more than 200 were hired to work on the different sites. Payment of compensations has been completed except of 3 PAPs in the Gandiol region for which the process has started. Most social assistance activities financed by the project are now completed and the remaining ones will be completed by June 2019. Disbursement: The additional financing project's disbursement rate is 59%. The initial project was disbursed at 100%.
