Implementation Status and Key Decisions
The closing date of the project has been extended to March 30, 2021. Several indicators were adjusted, and a new one added.
The project has made substantial progress: the Konggang incinerator has completed its physical improvements, and the Xishan incinerator is
expected to complete them before the end of 2020. Baseline emission characterization for the incinerators has also been completed.
The COVID19 pandemic has caused a two-to-four month delay in activities. All project activities have now restarted operation and are being closely
monitored – in particular, those related to training and those that involve travel – to avoid further delays in case the situation worsens.
