However, delays in project effectiveness have substantially reduced the project implementation timeline by two years. While the loan closing date is November 30, 2022, the DOTr desires to have BRT service in operation by June 2022. Rigorous work programming is critical to ensure that the project will meet the target operational date and not experience further delays. Adequate staffing, efficient coordination and political commitment from all parties would also be needed to complete the project within the remaining implementation period.
