The project was approved by the World Bank on April 29, 2020 and became effective on June 3, 2020. The project is managed by a PIU set within the Public Health Program in the Ministry of Health, which also manages the World Bank project PRSS. Key activities are under way including the hiring of additional staff to facilitate activity implementation, the finalization of the Annual Budgeted Work Plan and Procurement Plan, the preparation of a Program Implementation Manual and of instruments documenting the implementation of relevant environmental and social standards.
